The Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio hosted a convention, which featured various events, including the opening day and closing session entertainment, depicted in the displayed images. While the majority of the pictures captured classroom presentations catering to different industries, the opening session highlighted a presentation by Apple Evangelist Guy Kawasaki and a lively icebreaker inspired by a famous game show. The closing session was graced by the presence of Jay Leno.

This convention made use of The Convention Center and nearby hotels. At the peak of activity 6 photographers were required to provide coverage of all the sessions in progress.

Deliverables

Conference Photography

For most conventions in San Antonio we deliver on stage photographs as well as any off stage events and classroom sessions. This can be from a early morning run to the closing reception. You decide how much coverage is required. This was a multi day event. I am showing only a few from the opening day and closing reception entertainment. As with many larger conventions we can only share a part of what we delivered. In fact, the Jay Leno portion of the show was not going to be photographed, but about 1 minute before he went on his staff said we could photograph the opening. Below are a few sample images out of the 1800 delivered.
